Protein Pudding

Really easy to make and great to keep in the fridge as a snack or if you fancy something sweet.

Protein pudding

The really is a simple version (not like some that use 15 ingredients!) of a protein pudding, all you need to do is add 2 servings of protein to about half the liquid you usually use. Water works fine but others use oat or almond milk. Blend it up into a thick paste, pour into a glass pot and then place in the fridge for a few hours. That really is all you need to do on the most basic level. Now, some proteins will set better than others, this can depend on the amount of ‘gum’ added. Whey protein can be quite thin so if you have a blend of proteins like Reflex 3D or a Casein version, these will go much thicker.

Other ingredients you can use are frozen fruit (will add thickness too), nuts and seeds, Udo’s oil (for healthy fats) and spices like ginger and cinnamon.

Make a couple up at a time and you have a perfectly healthy snack ready and waiting.
